Tool Room Technician/Mold maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Tool Room Technician to join our fast-paced plastic molding facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, CNC experience, and hands-on mold maintenance and repair knowledge.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on molds and tooling Troubleshoot and complete mold/tool repairs Operate and program CNC Vertical Mill Operate shop equipment including grinders, mills, lathes Polish molds and tooling surfaces Manage and track tool room consumables and inventory Monitor tooling performance and maintenance trends Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to meet deadlines Experience in a molding/manufacturing environment required Knowledge of mold maintenance and repair procedures Experience with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and indicators Familiarity with SolidWorks and Autodesk/PowerMill Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings Basic computer skills including Excel, Outlook, and Word Forklift experience preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills
