Mold Technician / Assembly Frenchtown, NJ | In-Person | $24.24/hr | Full-Time | First Shift A well established and growing industrial manufacturer with a multi decade track record and facilities across the US is hiring an RTM Assembler to join a team that cares about their people. This union position offers steady first shift hours and a clear path to grow your skills in composite manufacturing.
What You'll Do:
Prepare molds and materials for Resin Transfer Molding, including cleaning, applying release agents, and positioning preforms Assemble composite components per engineering drawings and quality standards Inject resin into molds and monitor curing cycles Inspect finished parts for defects and dimensional accuracy Hand sand, oil, and grind parts, removing burrs and flashing with hand and power tools Repair parts with cosmetic imperfections and maintain accurate production records Work safely and collaboratively to hit production targets
What You Bring:
2+ years of experience with RTM or composite manufacturing processes 2+ years of experience repairing and grinding parts Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Strong attention to detail and basic mechanical aptitude High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in composites a plus
