Part-Time / Project-Based, with recurring work PTC Properties is seeking experienced Lead Abatement Workers and a Lead Abatement Supervisor to perform specialized cleaning and maintenance services at an indoor small-arms firing range. This is not ordinary janitorial cleaning. The work involves removal of lead and other heavy-metal dust and debris from an indoor firing range. Job Duties- HEPA vacuuming of firing-range floors, shooting booths and equipment
- Cleaning bullet-trap areas and surrounding surfaces
- Removal of lead/heavy-metal dust and debris
- Cleaning target carriers and rails
- Heavy-metal surface wipe-down
- Proper handling and containerization of contaminated materials
- Use of required PPE and respiratory protection
- Follow site-specific health and safety procedures
- Maintain contamination-control procedures
- Assist with range maintenance activities as assigned Preferred/Required Qualifications
- Current EPA Lead Abatement Worker or Lead Abatement Supervisor credential/training
- Previous lead-abatement, environmental-remediation or hazardous-material cleanup experience
- OSHA lead-safety training/knowledge
- Experience using HEPA vacuums and respiratory protection
- Ability to provide copies of current training certificates
- Ability to successfully complete required military installation/base-access vetting
- Reliable transportation to Niagara Falls, NY
- Dependable and able to follow strict federal-site safety procedures Experience with indoor firing ranges, environmental remediation, hazardous-waste operations, industrial cleaning or military/federal facilities is highly desirable.
