Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage. In this energetic role, you'll be on the front lines of disaster response, providing essential cleanup and restoration services to help clients recover quickly and confidently. Your hands-on expertise will make a real difference in transforming distressed spaces back into safe, healthy environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the restoration industry while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques Conduct fire damage cleanup, including debris removal, soot and smoke odor mitigation, and surface cleaning Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to safely remove mold growth and prevent future issues Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and restoration activities with precision and safety in mind Assist with asbestos abatement projects by following strict safety protocols and industry guidelines Clean and restore carpets using professional carpet cleaning equipment and techniques Support construction-related tasks such as minor repairs, drywall removal, and surface preparation during restoration projects Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with cleaning techniques, fire restoration, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively Join us as a Mitigation Technician where your proactive approach and dedication will help clients recover from unexpected disasters swiftly.
