Job Description

ENTRY LEVEL ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN
The Opportunity at Milstead Corporation- Hazmat Division Our Conroe , TX facility is looking for Environmental Technicians to join our safety conscious team! As an Environmental Technician you will be responsible for performing duties associated with emergency spill roadside work in addition to and supporting other industrial customers. Performs routine and frequent manual and heavy labor tasks. Must by 25 years or older to drive a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean equipment or areas contaminated with oil or other hazardous, toxic, or caustic materials using detergents and solvents, pressure washers, absorbent pads, filter pumps, drum skimmers, and marco skimmers Respond to industrial emergencies such as oil spills and hazardous material leaks Assist in the removal of soil, debris, and other materials to clean up spill sites Perform general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, organizing, cleaning, lawn care, and other assigned tasks Operate or assist in the operation of power tools and heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, track hoes, backhoes Load, hook up, break down vac truck hoses and other equipment Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed Complete all appropriate paperwork including services receipts Work with co-workers as a team to maintain a safe working environment What does it take to work for Milstead HMR? Manual transmission experience a plus TWIC card appreciated

Tech Certification (40H) Clean seven year history for required background check Previous Vacuum Truck experience is an asset Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions Ability to shave and wear a respirator Join our safety focused team today!
