Payrate:

Injection Mold Details:
Direct Hire position $38.00 to $42.00 /hour Second Shift Perform tear-down, inspection, repair, and rebuild of injection molds Troubleshoot mold-related issues causing defects (flash, short shots, splay, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance on molds including cleaning, polishing, and component replacement Diagnose wear patterns and recommend tooling improvements or repairs Support mold changeovers, startups, and production readiness Perform bench work including fitting, spotting, and minor machining adjustments Work with engineering and production to improve mold performance, cycle times, and part quality Maintain tooling documentation, maintenance logs, and inventory of spare components Identify and escalate recurring tooling issues and drive corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including proper handling of molds and equipment Maintain organization and cleanliness of tooling and work areas 2nd Shifft•Tooling Technician•
Injection Mold Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on injection molding process experience. Strong understanding of injection molding setup, troubleshooting, and processing. Experience operating or supporting molding machines, robots, and material handling systems Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and mold lifting equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
