Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Southern Asbestos and Mold, LLC San Antonio, TX Job Details Temporary | Part-time $35 - $40 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Abatement remediation method Spanish Safety protocol adherence English Asbestos Certification Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Driver's License Asbestos decontamination procedures Safety equipment Crew management Respirator Full Job Description Overview We are looking for an experienced Texas-licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisor to lead project-based asbestos abatement work throughout San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate knows the work, can lead a crew, takes safety and compliance seriously, and is willing to be hands-on when needed. This is a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor who wants to grow with a developing environmental services company. Requirements Current Texas DSHS Asbestos Abatement Supervisor license required Hands-on asbestos abatement experience Experience leading or supervising abatement crews preferred Knowledge of containment, negative air, HEPA equipment, decontamination, waste handling, respiratory protection, and PPE Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Dependable and able to travel to project locations throughout Texas as needed Able to perform physical work while wearing required respiratory protection and protective clothing Willing to work overtime, weekends, evenings, or out-of-town assignments when project schedules require it Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus This is currently a part-time/project-based position with the opportunity for more consistent work and increased responsibility as our workload grows. We are looking for someone who wants to be an important part of building a strong, professional abatement crew.
