We are looking for experienced workers who understand safe abatement practices, work well as part of a crew, and can reliably report to different project locations. Responsibilities Perform asbestos removal, cleanup, encapsulation, and related abatement work under supervisor direction Set up and maintain containment and decontamination areas Assist with negative-air machines, HEPA equipment, and other abatement equipment Properly bag, label, handle, and stage asbestos waste Use hand tools and equipment during demolition and removal activities Follow respiratory protection, PPE, decontamination, and safety procedures Load, unload, set up, and break down equipment and materials Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized Requirements Current Texas DSHS Asbestos Abatement Worker registration strongly preferred Previous asbestos abatement experience preferred Demolition, restoration, remediation, or construction experience is a plus Able to safely wear a respirator and protective clothing Able to lift, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding work Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Willing to travel to jobsites throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas Occasional overtime, weekends, or out-of-town work may be required Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus This is a part-time, project-based position with the opportunity for additional work and advancement as the company grows.
