Position Overview:

PAS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Asbestos Supervisor to lead a team of up to three technicians on a variety of asbestos abatement projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing safe and compliant work practices, ensuring adherence to federal and local guidelines, and leading by example to ensure high standards of performance and safety. $30.00 - $36.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (occasional weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of abatement professionals, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Travel to local job sites in a fully stocked company vehicle to perform abatement services. Oversee the setup of containment areas and ensure proper handling and removal of hazardous materials. Perform regular air monitoring and containment evaluations to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Ensure all work areas, tools, and equipment are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Manage waste disposal by overseeing the proper loading/unloading of materials and waste into designated containers or vehicles. Monitor and enforce strict adherence to federal, state, and local asbestos abatement regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

WA Supervisor Abatement License (Required) Proven experience in asbestos abatement (Required) Valid Driver's License (Required) Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work in confined spaces and extreme conditions Physical stamina to perform manual labor and heavy lifting as required Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions Knowledge of safety procedures when working with asbestos-containing materials Comfort working in safety clothing and respiratory equipment Must pass physical examination as required by state and federal regulations Join Our Team!
