Pay Rate:

$29.00/hr

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Brazer/Heat Treat Processor to support aerospace manufacturing operations by operating production equipment and performing critical heat treatment processes on precision-engineered components.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in aerospace manufacturing, blueprint reading, and heat treat operations who take pride in producing high-quality products that meet strict industry standards and specifications.

What Youll DoHeat Treat & Production Operations

Operate heat treat and production equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.

Perform quench and age processing in accordance with AMS2770 requirements.

Monitor processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Support manufacturing and assembly operations for commercial and aerospace products.

Blueprint & Specification Interpretation

Read and interpret:

Blueprints

Engineering drawings

Manufacturing procedures

Process specifications

Verify products meet required tolerances and quality standards.

Quality & Compliance

Follow AS9100 quality system requirements.

Inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications.

Maintain accurate production and process documentation.

Identify and report defects, process deviations, or non-conformances.

Operational Support

Follow established work instructions and safety guidelines.

Handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

Support continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

2-4 years of manufacturing, heat treat, or related production experience.

Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

Heat Treat Quench & Age Processes

AMS2770 specifications

Aerospace manufacturing

AS9100 quality systems

Dip Brazing experience.

Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.

Powered Industrial Truck/Forklift experience is a plus.

Join PDS Tech Commercial as a Heat Treat Technician and help produce the high-performance aerospace components that keep the world moving.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details:

$29.00 per hour
