$18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Elburn, ILPosition SummaryThe Robotic Welding Operator will operate and monitor robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and established quality standards.

This position is responsible for machine setup, loading and unloading parts, quality inspections, basic troubleshooting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperate robotic welding cells and associated fabrication equipment.

Safely and efficiently load and unload parts, fixtures, and materials.

Verify machine setup, tooling, and program selection before production runs.

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.

Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify part conformance.

Monitor weld quality and identify defects, equipment issues, or process deviations.

Perform basic troubleshooting and notify supervision of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Maintain production schedules and meet established productivity goals.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Participate in process improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production quality.
