Responsibilities Design and craft custom jewelry pieces using traditional techniques and modern tools Repair and restore damaged or worn jewelry with meticulous attention to detail Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance on design options Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to develop detailed models of jewelry concepts Select appropriate materials, including precious metals and gemstones, ensuring quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are properly calibrated Stay current with industry trends in fashion design, textiles in industrial design, and artistic concepts to enhance your creations Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino or Matrix for jewelry design development Strong knowledge of goldsmithing techniques including soldering, stone setting, polishing, and engraving Experience with graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for conceptual sketches and presentations Skilled in illustration, design sketching, and vector illustration to visualize ideas clearly Familiarity with 3D modeling software for detailed prototyping of jewelry pieces Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members Deep understanding of color theory, gemstone qualities, and garment construction principles applicable to jewelry design Ability to operate sewing machines or related tools for textile-based accessories or mixed-media projects (nice-to-have) Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes within the fashion retail environment (preferred) Artistic concept development skills combined with experience in fashion styling or theater experience (bonus) Join us in creating stunning jewelry that combines artistry with craftsmanship!
