Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Fabricator to take ownership of the fabrication and manufacturing of our processor/cremator frames, components, and related equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant involvement in both the production of current products and the R&D of new processors. The ideal candidate is a skilled fabricator who can read and work directly from prints, lead fabrication efforts, and drive continuous improvement in both products and processes. This is not a helper position. The right individual will be responsible for manufacturing all parts through this role and will play a key part in processor development. Top-tier talent will be compensated accordingly. Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Manufacturing Fabricate and assemble processor frames, structures, and related components from shop drawings and prints Perform welding, fitting, grinding, cutting, layout, and all general fabrication tasks to high quality standards Read and accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements Operate fabrication tools, machinery, and shop equipment safely and efficiently Manufacture all parts required for processors and related equipment R&D and Continuous Improvement Play a major role in the development and prototyping of new processor designs Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products and fabrication processes Provide feedback on design feasibility, material selection, and manufacturing efficiency Help refine and document standard work and best practices for fabrication Quality & Leadership Maintain strict attention to detail and consistently meet quality standards Lead and support day-to-day fabrication activities within the shop Drive workflow efficiency and shop organization Mentor and support other team members on fabrication techniques and best practices Collaboration & Support Work closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams Collaborate on new product development and design-for-manufacturability Support installation, troubleshooting, and field modifications as needed Maintain a strong safety mindset and follow all shop safety protocols Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in structural fabrication, preferably in industrial processing equipment Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings, prints, and technical specifications Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, and/or stick), fitting, layout, and metal fabrication Experience leading or mentoring fabrication team members preferred Solid understanding of fabrication best practices, tolerances, and quality standards Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
