We're Looking for a Talented Dressmaker at Rosa Clará (Boston, United States) Rosa Clará, renowned for its elegance and craftsmanship in bridal fashion, is on the lookout for a skilled Dressmaker with a deep passion for haute couture to join our team at our Boston, United States atelier. If you're someone who thrives on precision, loves working with luxurious fabrics, and wants to be part of a high-end fashion brand, this is your chance! Experience in the bridal sector is essential. What you'll do:
Master Alterations:
Perform dress alterations with expert attention to detail, ensuring all changes meet the high-quality standards of Rosa Clará and are completed on time.
Support Our Sales Advisors:
Work closely with our Sales Advisors in the fitting rooms, reviewing and ensuring dresses received from headquarters are flawless and ready for our clients.
Collaborate & Organize:
Team up with the workshop manager or store director to efficiently manage and prioritize alterations, keeping everything on track.
Pressing & Finishing:
Carry out essential pressing and steaming tasks to ensure each dress is in perfect condition for delivery. Prepare for
Perfection:
Ensure every gown is meticulously prepared for delivery, maintaining our reputation for excellence. What we're looking for:
Extensive Experience:
You've got solid experience in sewing and working with all types of machinery and tools (such as flatbed sewing machines, overlockers, and sergers).
Detail-Oriented:
You can alter, replace, or add all kinds of trimmings, such as buttons, zippers, boning, etc., with finesse.
Fashion Expertise:
You have formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or pattern making.
Bridal and Evening Wear Knowledge:
Previous experience with bridal gowns or evening dresses is a huge plus.
Quality-Driven:
You're responsible, detail-oriented, and dedicated to producing top-notch work.
