Arcadia is a piercing-only studio located in Coolidge Corner. We offer body piercings with high quality jewelry, as well as jewelry and aftercare sales. Jewelry Stylists are the first to greet clients when they enter the studio and spend the most time one-on-one with the people who visit us. The people we pierce range from seven year olds getting their very first earlobe piercing ever to people who have frequented studios for years. And as the studio grows, we need more people to help bring beautiful piercings to our clients. Responsibilities Greet clients when they arrive and check them Assist clients in finding their jewelry, whether for a fresh or healed piercing Operation of the Square POS system to build tickets, get pricing for clients, and cash clients out at the end of their service Ability to explain service fee costs as well as ranges of jewelry pricing General cleaning and maintenance of client facing areas Answering general questions from clients Answering phones and texts/emails from clients Work with the piercers to provide the best experience possible for the clients Skills Mid to high volume retail or serving/barista experience required Strong communication skills both with clients and coworkers Ability to multitask when things are busy while maintaining a high quality of work Responsible Excellent organizational skills a plus Usage of devices such as iPhone, iPad, POS systems as well as social media (primarily Instagram) Math skills for cashing clients out but also for jewelry sizing knowledge Maintain professionalism in all kinds of situations The position we are filling is full-time and we are looking for someone who would like to stay with us for a while, preferably longer than a year. This is not an apprenticeship to be a piercer, nor will it lead to one. Please do not apply with the intent of getting an apprenticeship. However, this is a permanent, long term position. There is much room for growth and additional training here that will not only provide skills should you work at a different studio but will apply to other careers as well.
