Role Description New York, NY In-person hybrid | Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-2:00PM About the Role Anne Baker is a New York-based fine jewelry designer seeking a sharp, self-directed Design & Client Relations Associate to work directly with the designer in her home studio. This is not an entry-level assistant position it's a hands-on apprenticeship for someone who already understands the fine jewelry world and wants to go deeper: learning the full arc of how a jewelry house runs, from concept to client to sale. You'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, sitting in on client conversations, helping shape the brand's visual and social presence, and contributing design ideas that may end up on someone's hand. Who You Are You have prior experience in jewelry, luxury goods, or fine art sales
- you know how to read a client and close with taste, not pressure You have a genuine eye for jewelry design and can speak fluently about form, stones, and craftsmanship You're plugged into the stylist, influencer, and tastemaker world, you know who's who and how that ecosystem moves You're skilled at storyboarding and conceptualizing content, and comfortable shooting and editing video for social media You're exceptionally organized, efficient, and intuitive, someone who anticipates next steps rather than waiting to be told You've worked with high-profile or high-net-worth clients and understand the discretion and polish that requires You're a true self-starter who wants ownership, not just tasks What You'll DoAssist in the design process•sketching, sourcing, and refining ideas alongside the designer Support client-facing sales conversations and follow-through Conceptualize and produce social media content, including video Help organize the day-to-day operations of a growing fine jewelry business Learn•genuinely learn•how a New York fine jewelry house is built and run, from someone willing to teach it firsthand Compensation hourly rate, plus commission on sales.
