Previous jewelry manufacturing experience is required. Applicants without jewelry manufacturing experience will not be considered. Experience working on a jewelry production floor is strongly preferred. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Jewelry Quality Control Specialist to help maintain the quality standards Precision Set is known for. This is a hands-on production floor position. You'll inspect jewelry throughout the manufacturing process, identify issues before they reach the next department, recommend corrective action, and help keep jobs moving efficiently through production. The ideal candidate understands jewelry manufacturing from casting through final polish and enjoys solving problems before they become customer issues. Responsibilities Inspect jewelry throughout the manufacturing process Identify production issues and determine corrective action Work directly with setters, polishers, CAD, casting and production personnel Verify workmanship meets Precision Set quality standards Help manage production flow by preventing bottlenecks Communicate quality concerns quickly and professionally Maintain consistency across all manufacturing departments Qualifications Required Previous jewelry manufacturing experience Strong understanding of jewelry production processes Excellent attention to detail Ability to identify workmanship and manufacturing defects Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience working on a jewelry manufacturing shop floor Experience in production quality control Knowledge of casting, assembly, stone setting, polishing and finishing Ability to identify casting defects and diamond quality issues Experience using loupes, microscopes and precision measuring tools This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth.
