Job Description
American Gold Tour is a gold & jewelry buying business based in Austin, TX. We're hiring Austin Buyer to run daily operations — scheduled client meetings, evaluating precious metals, and building trust with customers. We are an established buyer in Austin with recently expanded footprint in San Antonio and DFW area. We base our business on professional and transparent process with fair payouts resulting in 5/5 customer rating from our clients. The role starts part-time with the target to grow into a full-time position . Ideally, the candidate will be promoted into Hub Lead role . Flexible schedule — we offer work Monday through Sunday, any day of the week. The role involves travel between offices in the Austin area. This is a high-responsibility, high-upside role for someone with real-world experience in gold buying, pawn, or jewelry environments — and who is comfortable using digital tools. Responsibilities Evaluate and purchase gold jewelry and precious metal items Accurately test purity and weight Use digital systems: booking calendar, customer verification, transaction records and compliance reporting Support ensuring full compliance with Texas and federal requirements Skills Experience in at least one of the following: pawn shop / jewelry buying / precious metals dealing Hands-on experience evaluating gold
