Duties Develop detailed 3D CAD models of jewelry pieces using industry-standard software, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic appeal Collaborate with design teams, artisans, and product managers to translate conceptual sketches into functional digital prototypes Incorporate feedback to refine designs, maintaining alignment with brand identity and market trends Prepare technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes, including casting, setting, and finishing Manage multiple projects through the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final production readiness Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to enhance visual presentations and mood boards Stay updated on current fashion and jewelry trends to inform innovative design ideas and ensure market relevance Requirements Proven experience in CAD design within the jewelry industry or related fashion accessories field Proficiency in CAD software tailored for jewelry design (e.g., Rhino, MatrixGold) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Strong understanding of product lifecycle management processes from concept development through manufacturing Knowledge of fashion design principles, color theory, and garment construction as they relate to accessory styling Ability to interpret sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards into precise digital models Excellent illustration skills combined with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics Familiarity with sewing machines or garment construction is a plus for understanding material behavior in jewelry settings Experience with merchandising strategies within fashion retail environments is advantageous Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and present ideas clearly Embark on a creative journey where your designs come to life!
