In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, safes, security systems, and mechanical hardware across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our premises by diagnosing issues accurately and executing effective solutions swiftly. Duties Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and other mechanical security devices using schematics and technical drawings. Interpret technical schematics and drawings to troubleshoot complex lock and security system issues effectively. Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on heavy equipment related to lock installation or security hardware upkeep. Diagnose mechanical problems with locks, safes or security devices through hands-on inspection and technical proficiency. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical documentation and ensure precise execution of installation or repair procedures. Experience Proven experience working as a locksmith. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings. Experience with electrical diagnostics, including troubleshooting electronic locking mechanisms and access control systems. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within a facilities or industrial environment.
