This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a skilled locksmith who takes pride in maintaining safe, secure, and reliable campus facilities. In this role, you will support daily operations by installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining locks, keys, doors, cylinders, and access-control hardware across a diverse campus environment. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, rekey, and maintain locks, doors, cylinders, keys, and related door hardware throughout campus facilities. Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electronic locking systems. Cut and duplicate keys while maintaining accurate key, lock, and access-control records. Respond to service requests involving locks, keys, doors, hardware, and access issues in a timely and professional manner. Support master key systems, campus access controls, and security-related facilities needs. Work closely with facilities staff and campus personnel while following established safety procedures.
