Roca Lock and Key, Inc. seeks a locksmith technician with at least 1-2 year experience. Must be able to cut keys, rekey various keyways, and install locks and doors. Must be able to handle commercial, industrial, residential needs across Los Angeles County. Skills test required at interview.

Pay rate:

Depends on experience. Master and interpret Master keying guides; use knowledge of how locks work to interpret and preserve the integrity of master key systems. Install, repair, change, and service locks of various types. Repair or change safe keys/combinations. Construct or duplicate keys from existing ones, patterns, codes and cylinders. Manipulate combinations for locks where there is no existing combinations or keys. Service and repair "panic" hardware. Maintain both mechanical and electronic key card systems. This could involve troubleshooting, repairs, regular maintenance of the lock system. Issue keys to clients and keep records of the keys issued and returned. Install and fix door hardware systems. Replace or service worn out components of a door security system, including the lock, tumblers, springs, and other important parts. Inspect door openings and provide accurate measurements towards hardware and door replacement.

Requirements:

Must be able to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (with overtime as needed) Must have valid CA driver's license and clean driving record. Background check required.
