DEFINITION

Under supervision of the Director of Maintenance or designee, install and repair a variety of locks, doors, hardware and lockers; change combinations, prepare keys and assist in maintaining shop and inventory. QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience in the locksmith trade to demonstrate journeyman level proficiency.

Licenses and other requirements:

Valid California driver's license. Driving record acceptable to the District's insurance carrier.

Desired Qualification:

Locksmith License.
