Location:

Miami, Florida Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and professional on-call Locksmith to join our emergency response team. This role requires availability to handle lock-related emergencies, residential lockouts, and commercial security issues. You will be responsible for providing fast, non-destructive entry and high-quality lock repairs/replacements within a 17-hour window. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to incoming calls from dispatchers regarding home, business, and automotive lockouts.

Lockout Assistance:

Gain entry into residential, commercial, and vehicle properties using specialized tools, focusing on non-destructive methods first.

Installation & Repair:

Install, repair, rekey, and maintain various types of locks, including mechanical, electronic, and high-security cylinder locks.

Key Services:

Cut new or duplicate keys on-site using portable key-cutting machines (including code cutting and broken key extraction).

Security Upgrades:

Advise clients on security vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements (e.g., deadbolts, smart locks).

Record Keeping & Payments:

Maintain accurate logs of work orders and collect payments, invoices, and electronic signatures from customers.

On-Call Protocol:

Remain on-call during the 7 AM to 12 AM shift, ensuring a high sense of urgency and timely arrival at job sites.

Required Qualifications & Skills Experience:

With or without experience as a locksmith (automotive experience is a strong plus).

Technical Proficiency:

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized locksmith equipment.

Knowledge:

Comprehensive understanding of different lock types and key systems

Soft Skills:

Excellent customer service, professional demeanor, and high ethical standards (honesty/integrity).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends
