• Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and security systems (including specialty hardware for commercial buildings and marine vessels)
• Cut and duplicate keys
• Open locked doors and safes using specialized tools and techniques
• Assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and send proper check-out reports following work day completion This is a 1099 subcontractor position.

Truck and tools can be provided but ideally candidate has their own truck and tools. We do NOT perform emergency lockouts for residential or auto and we do not make car keys.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a locksmith for 2 or more years or in a similar role
• Knowledge of different types of locks, keys, and security systems
• Familiarity with locksmith tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
