You inspect mechanical, keyless, and pneumatic locking hardware and door components—tuning, repairing, or replacing what's needed. A work order pings in the CMMS for a card reader glitch; on site, you diagnose an electromagnetic latch and verify the access control panel configuration, reading low-voltage schematics to isolate a wiring fault. Before lunch, you rekey a bank of cylinders and update the master key hierarchy and key control records. Later, an urgent lockout requires a rapid, safe response. You close the day by logging all work details in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
