Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Locksmith to support the safety and security of our property through the maintenance and management of locks, keys, safes, and access systems. This is a highly visible and critical role that directly impacts our ability to maintain secure operations across the casino, hotel, offices, and back-of-house facilities. We are especially interested in candidates who already possess the credentials necessary to serve as a Louisiana Locksmith Qualifier, as this role is vital to maintaining the company's Louisiana Locksmith Firm License. Candidates with strong locksmith experience and the ability to quickly obtain the required licensing and certifications are also encouraged to apply. A qualifying locksmith must be an employee who actively oversees locksmith operations and holds an approved credential such as the ALOA Certified Licensed Locksmith (CLL), Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL), Certified Professional Locksmith (CPL), or Certified Master Locksmith (CML). Install, repair, maintain, and rekey locks and locking systems throughout the property. Service door hardware, key systems, safes, cabinets, and security-related equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, electronic, and access-control locking systems. Manage key inventories and maintain strict key control procedures. Perform emergency lockout services and urgent repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of lock changes, key issuance, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities. Partner with Security, Facilities, Surveillance, IT, and operations teams to support property security initiatives. Ensure locksmith operations comply with company standards, gaming regulations, and Louisiana licensing requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Current Louisiana locksmith credentials that qualify you to serve as a Louisiana Locksmith Qualifier. ALOA Certified Licensed Locksmith (CLL), Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL), Certified Professional Locksmith (CPL), or Certified Master Locksmith (CML) certification. Ability to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming Permit. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive security information. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments when required. Experience in a casino, hotel, healthcare, institutional, or large commercial environment. Experience with electronic locks, access control systems, and master key systems.
