The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators to ensure reliable power supply for our clients. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. At Best Home Generators, we are committed to providing reliable, high-quality backup power solutions for homeowners and businesses. With decades of experience and a team of factory-trained technicians. What you'll do: Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks. Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions and failures Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed. Test and verify repairs to ensure proper operation. Conduct regular inspections of generators and associated systems to identify potential issues or safety hazards. Offer recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed. Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs Communicate with inside staff regarding the status of work orders. What you'll bring: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment and the ability to read technical schematics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 75+ lbs. Capable of working in various environmental conditions. Valid Driver's License 3-5 years working with Kohler, Cummins, Generac, or other Generators
