Our team of skilled technicians are passionate about their work and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. We are hiring for a Locksmith to be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing various locking mechanisms and access control systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This position requires a strong understanding of locking systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain locks, door hardware, security devices, and related hardware (e.g., panic bars, closers, hinges, safes). Rekey and master key locks in accordance with system design and keying schedules. Operate key cutting machines and software to duplicate or generate new keys. Cut and duplicate keys with precision, ensuring accuracy and functionality. Maintain records of key codes and security information in a secure and confidential manner. Accurately document all services provided, including parts used and time spent on each job. Troubleshoot locking mechanisms to determine root causes of issues. Replace worn or damaged parts and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Respond to emergency lockouts or repair calls. Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory used. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of the work being performed. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials necessary for locksmith tasks. Request supplies as needed to ensure that all jobs can be completed without delay.
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of experience as a locksmith or in a related A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Proficient in the use of locksmith tools and Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic locking Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to Ability to work independently and manage time Strong communication and customer service
