Description Locksmith Technician in Feasterville, PA. Multiple openings. Must have an Associate's Degree in Electronics engineering technology. Will work at various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout PA, NY, MD, NJ, VA, CT, and MA.
Wage:
$63,211.00/year.Duties:
- Install and service electronic door locking mechanisms such as maglocks, electric strikes, and motorized latch retraction devices integrated with access control panels, keypads, RFID readers, or biometric scanners.
- Troubleshoot and update system software or firmware.
- Integrate electrified door hardware with building security systems, including alarms, surveillance, and ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
- Route and connect low-voltage cabling between access control panels, power supplies, electronic locks, and input/output devices.
- Diagnose issues in electronic door components such as card readers, door position sensors, request-to-exit devices, and power supplies; replace faulty components and calibrate system settings.
- Ensure installations comply with life safety regulations, including egress requirements and fire code standards.
