Job Description
Professional Lock & Key is excited to fill a Locksmith position with our company! We have been offering security solutions to the Fredericksburg and surrounding area for over 55 years, and many of our employees have remained with the company for decades. We're looking for a dedicated individual who will be a welcomed addition to our team. We are ideally seeking someone with a minimum of two years previous locksmith experience, and road experience is preferred. If you do not have previous experience in locksmithing, but have worked in a similar trade, we could bring you on as an in-shop technician and train you in house.

Job Type:
Full-Time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday Potential for on-call rotation for emergency service during nights and weekends, earning commission. Main Duties will include- Providing excellent customer service while performing: Key duplication Re-keying residential and commercial grade locks Servicing locks and related hardware of various types Changing lock codes and safe combinations Other Duties may include
- Assisting with the installation and servicing of electronic access related jobs Assisting with safe deliveries, servicing and openings Making / programming automotive keys Required Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum High School or equivalent degree Clean driving and criminal records Equipment maintenance Basic safety Quality focus Reliable attendance Mechanical inclination Excellent communication skills Ability to work well alone and in a team setting At least two years of experience in the locksmith field Must be a US Citizen Benefits
