Job Description

Boat Systems Installer Job Description:
Looking for motivated individuals wanting a rewarding career in the boat manufacturing industry. Responsibilities include installation of electrical and mechanical components with minimal supervision. Installs various outboard engines, along with associated cables and wiring. Installs fuel systems and plumbing. Fabricates and installs main and auxiliary wiring harnesses. Install a variety of components such as lights, radios, radar, GPS, chart plotters, etc. Other responsibilities, including adhering vinyl and marine carpet to various surfaces. Applying nonslip systems to deck surfaces.
Hours:
Full Time Tuesday-Friday 5:00-3:30 4-10's

level of experience: Beginner to Advanced compensation: 25.00

Skills, and Experience:
2 years experience in a related field. Interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and layouts to complete installations Maintain direct communication with rigging manager Must provide own tools within reason. (Shop will provide larger more expensive power tools.) Ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment with a multi meter Familiar with general shop procedures and tools. Cutting and light machining of aluminum parts.
Education:
Minimum High school Diploma or Equivalent. Automotive or marine mechanics, or the equivalent in experience. ABYC Certification is a big plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up-to 60 lbs. Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks.
