$120.00 daily pay + commissions. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems, providing essential services to ensure the safety and security of residential, commercial, and automotive properties. The Locksmith will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security devices while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Install, repair, and replace locks on doors, windows, safes, and other security devices. Respond to emergency lockout situations in a timely manner. Conduct assessments of security needs for clients and recommend appropriate solutions. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose issues with electronic locking systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during service calls. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques and technologies to enhance service offerings. Skills Proficient in the use of locksmithing tools and equipment, including hand tools and electronic diagnostic devices like an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot lock-related issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail to ensure precision in installations and repairs. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and understanding their security needs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to locksmithing practices is preferred but not required.
