Lathe Operator

Duties

• Setup & program Mazak CNC Lathe
• Read micrometers and calipers, Offset, Set up, adjust, and operator CNC machines
• Ability to use all types of inspection instruments to check work per print without supervision
• Help solve machining problems related to assigned machine
• Read and Interpret prints and inspect parts per the print specifications
• Help train and assist new operators
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
