This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts across a variety of projects and industries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines Create and modify CAD models and CAM toolpaths to support production and prototyping Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies Perform first-article inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and quality Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Experience Experience as a Machinist with hands-on CNC machining Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or similar) Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience with tight tolerances and precision components Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines Background in aerospace, defense, medical, or high-precision manufacturing Experience with additive manufacturing or hybrid workflows Familiarity with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices
