Job Description

Experienced CNC Machinist - Mill Department Armstrong Manufacturing & Engineering (AME) Established in 1968, AME is a precision manufacturer serving the medical, scientific, defense, and aerospace industries. We are seeking a skilled, self-sufficient machinist looking for long-term stability—not just another job. This role is for someone who knows their craft and expects to be held to a high standard. Requirements & Expectations Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machining and setup experience — not an entry-level role Ability to independently set up, adjust, and run jobs start-to-finish Strong understanding of tight tolerances and part inspection Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T — no guesswork Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision Maintain accurate and complete documentation — 100% of the time Willingness to work overtime when required to meet production demands Schedule Positions available on 1st and 2nd shift Benefits & Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and capability — top performers are paid accordingly Posted wage ranges do not reflect earning potential for highly skilled machinists 100% employer-paid medical coverage for employees Optional dental and vision plans Paid holidays and sick time Paid vacation Bottom Line If you're the type who can walk up to a machine, set it up right, hold tolerance, and get the job done without excuses , you'll do well here. Eligibility Requirement:
This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
