• Job Description
• The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision metal components used in industrial applications.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and experience working with tight tolerances. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Responsibilities
• + Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machines to produce precision metal parts.

+ Load raw materials, install tooling, and input machine offsets or program adjustments as needed. + Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency. + Perform basic troubleshooting on tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine functions. + Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to understand dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements before starting production. + Ensure all parts meet customer and internal specifications.

• Essential Skills
• + Experience with CNC machining, including mills and lathes. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. + Knowledge of machining processes and ability to work with tight tolerances. + Familiarity with CNC systems such as Mazak and programming languages like G-Code and Mazatrol. + Comfortable with mathematical formulas for machining.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with Mazatrol and G-Code programming. + Ability to perform setups and edit programs. + Experience with basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
