CNC Machinist

Volt is immediately hiring for a Lathe CNC Machinist in Buellton, CA As a CNC Machinist, you will: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines with a strong focus on CNC Lathe operations. Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to understand machining requirements. Program and adjust machine controls, offsets, and tooling to ensure accurate production. Perform first?article inspections and test runs to validate part quality and load raw materials and finished components. Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition. This is a full ?time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Hands?on experience operating CNC machines, preferably CNC Lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical documents Experience with CNC set?ups, tooling, and offsets Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments Basic computer skills with exposure to CNC programming and CAD/CAM concepts

Pay Rate:

$28.00

• $35.00 per hour
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
