In this role, you will operate and set up a variety of machining equipment to produce precision metal components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining, manual machining, and blueprint interpretation will be essential to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about craftsmanship, possesses strong mechanical knowledge, and thrives in a fast-paced environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Must have 2 years of experience. Duties Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and manual machining tools to produce complex parts according to detailed blueprints and technical specification Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise measurements Set up machines by installing tooling, calibrating measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for quality control Conduct machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications Perform quality inspections using measurement tools and visual checks to verify dimensions and surface finishes meet standards Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles Skills Mechanical aptitude with experience in metal machining, lathe work, milling, grinding, and manual machining techniques Familiarity with tooling selection, tool setup, and the use of hand tools and power tools in machining processes Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately and apply GD&T standards for precision measurement in machining Experience with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret complex technical instructions effectively Join our team as a Machinist if you are eager to craft high-quality components with precision while advancing your skills in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
