Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator with strong CNC lathe experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up, operate, and program CNC lathes to manufacture precision-machined components. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Select and maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine setups for optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support and mentor junior machinists by sharing best practices and promoting safe work habits. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience, with extensive CNC lathe experience required. Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, and G-code programming. Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints. Thorough understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, materials, and manufacturing processes. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. First week will be conducted on 1st Shift, Monday•Friday, 6:30 AM•4:30

$26.00•$28.00 per hour
