•CNC Machinist Job Description Job Summary Ace Air Manufacturing is a precision machine shop for the aerospace industry located in Gardena, California area. We machine aircraft parts, both commercial and military and are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist. Candidate needs some experience in machining castings, must be able to make their own set ups, and sample inspect their part to make sure they conform to the print. Listed below are other responsibilities and skills needed, but are not limited to: Operate CNC machines, including setting up and adjusting tools as necessary. Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to produce parts according to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products. Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in machining, with a strong understanding of CNC operations. Familiarity with tooling, basic math skills, and the ability to perform calculations for machining processes. Knowledge of Fanuc controls is advantageous for programming CNC equipment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to continuous improvement through lean manufacturing practices. Experience with CAD software for interpreting designs and programming CNC machines, is a plus but not required This position starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 2:30 PM.
Salary:
Starting at $22.00 / hour. Pay is based on your experience and ability.
