We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to our growing operations.
Job Summary:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, some programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You'll work with blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes preferably, grinders). Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure precision. Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical or programming issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist. Proficiency with G-code, M-code, and understanding of CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Nakamura or similar). Strong understanding of machining techniques and material properties. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
