Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring Maintenance Mechanic in Oxnard, CA. Let Volt help move you forward As a Maintenance Mechanic you will: Install, maintain, repair, and/or rebuild up to 400-ton complex industrial manufacturing machines and equipment such as mechanical and hydraulic punch press and press brake machines, lathes, milling machines , radial drill presses, CNC machines, cranes, etc. Experience in working on Soco and Amada, Hasas Machines a Plus. Examine, observe, and listen to the machines for defects while operating, replace defective parts, fabricate minor replacement parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operations. Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance best practices and safety standards, such as OSHA compliance regulations, electrical safety, and lockout and tagout practice procedures. Take initiative in performing preventative maintenance on machines. Have electrical knowledge in 110-to-480-volt a.c. circuits on both single and three phase to be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair any electrical problems that occur with the machines. Able to read and interpret both mechanical and electrical schematics, manuals, blueprints, and technical material. Dismantles machines and devices to gain interior access and remove or repair defective parts. Install special functional and structural parts in machines, as well as lubricate and clean out parts inside and outside the machines. Able to start up, restart, and power down the industrial machines to troubleshoot and test their performance before, during, and after working on the machine This is a Full-time 90 day temp to hire opportunity. Work Schedule-Monday-Friday with Saturday OT, hours: 8am-4:30
Pay Rate:
