- We are seeking a driven and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace Industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Interpreting and implementing complex blueprints, engineering plans, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to create precision aerospace components. 2. Operating and maintaining CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-quality components. 3. Utilizing CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to design and program tool paths. 4. Skilled in the use of various hand tools for the fabrication and assembly of components. 5. Performing sheet metal fabrication, including bending, cutting, and forming, to produce parts and assemblies. 6. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. 7. Collaborating with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and product design. 8. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines and equipment. 9. Maintaining accurate records of all work performed and materials used. 10. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in the Aerospace Industry. 2. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. 3. Extensive experience with CNC machine tools, including lathes and mills. 4. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, including bending, cutting, and forming. 5. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment. 7. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 10. A commitment to adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. 11. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. 12. A high school diploma or equivalent.
