In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and technical tools will ensure efficient production and continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily Fanuc-controlled systems, ensuring optimal performance and precision. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and write or modify CNC code to meet production requirements. Set up tooling, fixtures, and calibration devices such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure measurement accuracy. Conduct routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform adjustments to maintain high-quality output. Utilize precision measuring instruments and hand tools for quality control inspections throughout the machining process. Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling design, process improvements, and implementing lean manufacturing principles for efficiency gains. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, with a strong understanding of Fanuc controls. Proficiency in CNC programming using CAM software; ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Solid knowledge of GD&T principles, electrical discharge machining (EDM), plastics injection molding processes, and welding techniques is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and assembly equipment in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow efficiency.
