CNC Vertical Machinist Requirements:

Built for Precision High school diploma or GED required 2-6 years of machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Basic CNC setup and operation knowledge; programming experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Proficiency in spoken and written English Ability to meet U.S. export control requirements Your Everyday Hustle Set up and operate 3-4 axis vertical milling machines to produce parts per blueprints and work orders Review daily production schedules (dispatch lists) and prioritize jobs accordingly Adjust tooling and machine settings based on CNC programs to meet specifications Load parts and perform in-process quality checks to ensure conformance Inspect finished parts using dimensional data sheets and measuring tools Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and upkeep Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining production and quality standards The Rewards Behind Every Precision Cut Good weekly pay
