CNC Machinist

Machinist Level II - Contract to Hire - Poway, CA and Spanish Fork, UT We are seeking an experienced Machinist Level II for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Spanish Fork, UT. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of machining experience and strong knowledge of machine tools, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications Perform machining operations including drilling, boring, tapping, reaming, grooving, milling, and turning Work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals to exact tolerances Select tooling, machine speeds, feeds, and work-holding methods Perform machine setup, adjustments, and preventive maintenance Maintain safe work practices and support production flow

Qualifications:

3+ years of machining experience Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience with manual and/or CNC machining equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay:

$23-$24/hr
