• Setup & Operation:

  Perform setups for 2 and 3-axis machining jobs on Vertical, Horizontal, or Turning centers.

• Technical Adjustments:

  Manage G-code edits, adjust feeds/speeds, and report significant changes to the programming team.

• Quality Control:

  Troubleshoot dimensional or surface finish defects; inspect all features (excluding 3D surfaces).

• Optimization:

  Recommend program improvements and evaluate tool wear for alternate tooling types.

• Tooling & Fixtures:

  Design and build simple machining fixtures such as soft jaws and custom plates.

• Mentorship:

  Provide technical guidance and training to lower-level machinists. Apply now! Required Experience & Skills

• Experience:

  Minimum of 5 years in machining, with at least 4 years specifically focused on CNC equipment.

• Technical Proficiency:

  Highly skilled with at least one major CNC control (Fanuc, Mazak, or Haas).

• Precision:

  Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with the ability to interpret and explain all symbols.

• Metrology:

  Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages, and thread gages.

Materials:
