We're currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Foreman to lead daily operations in our busy job shop. This is a hands-on leadership role you'll operate CNC equipment alongside your team while managing workflow, mentoring machinists, and ensuring production targets are met. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of 10 machinists and operators to maintain productivity and quality standards. Operate and oversee CNC equipment including: Vertical mills Multi-pallet horizontal mills CNC lathes (including live tool and vertical lathes) Build fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support production setups. Program CNC machines using CAD software, Mastercam, or GibbsCAM . Ensure efficient workflow through accurate scheduling and prioritization of jobs. Train and mentor team members on best machining practices and safety protocols. Inspect finished parts to verify quality and precision. Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and meet company goals. Qualifications 15+ years of machining experience with strong background in both milling and turning . Proven ability to lead a production team in a precision machining or job shop environment. Proficiency in operating and programming CNC mills and lathes , including but not limited to multi-axis and live tooling machines. Skilled in fixture building , setup, and problem-solving on complex parts. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
