In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machining CNC Turning Centers to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure efficient production processes. This position offers an opportunity to work with CNC lathes. Duties Operate CNC machines such as CNC lathes ensuring accurate and efficient production. Will train for set up. Read and interpret complex technical drawings to produce precise parts. Program CNC equipment Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all tools and tooling are properly maintained and calibrated. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Conduct inspections throughout the machining process, ensuring parts meet quality standards before final inspection. Deburr parts in preparation for final inspection Experience Prefer experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment with a focus on precision machining. Familiarity with reading technical drawings. Proficiency in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers and gauges. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Understanding of lean manufacturing practices to promote efficiency within the production line. Part Time shift (20 - 25 hours per week) beginning at 4:00pm
